Château Saint Cyrgues
The Château Saint Cyrgues estate is located in the South of France, near Nîmes in Saint-Gilles. It faces the marshy plain of the Petite Camargue, one of the most beautiful sites in the Mediterranean. Its geographical location makes it the southernmost vineyard in the Rhône Valley. This place full of history was on the passage of many pilgrims going to Compostela or Jerusalem. It is located on the exact spot where the church of Saint Cirice des Marges once stood. Vines have always been cultivated there and the wines of this vineyard have repeatedly received distinctions. The southern exposure of the domain allows a good maturity of the grapes, which gives the wine its racy and fine character. Vines from 1971 rub shoulders with those planted in 2014. Each generation defines the identity of Château Saint Cyrgues, bringing it balance and consistency. The estate may be a hundred years old, but it lives with the times and today is fully organic.
