Ermisch Cellars 2021 Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon
Producer Info
- After making wine at Bodega Calle in Argentina for more than a decade,
but having built our import business from Oregon, we thought it important to finally try our hand with the challenging varietals of Pinot Noir and soon thereafter Cabernet Sauvignon. - This is very much a hands-on project, and Ermisch can now be found doing most of the work from vineyard pickup to winemaking to bottling.
About the Wine
- Grapes come from a hillside vineyard in the Red Mountain AVA in Washington state. 85% Cabernet Sauvignon with 15% Cabernet Franc. This wine is bold and complex and sure to devlep nicely in the bottle.

Tasting Notes
A dark cherry red. Aromas of black and blue fruits mingled with earthy tones and a hint of caramel. A pleasing flavor of baked plum but altogether a dry red. A bold body fills the palate and lingers with a long finish and grippy tannins.
